Recreation

When staying in the Eastfjords there are endless possibilities for new experiences. The location of Mjóeyri is very central and ideal for taking short trips around the townships of Fjardabyggd in the daytime and then returning in the evenings for a meal, and perhaps to enjoy a walk along the shore in the bright light of the long summer days after dinner.
Everyone should be able to find something of interest. Recreational activities are so numerous and varied. They include: boat rental nature observation, hiking, bird watching, cave tours, ice climbing, skiing, diving, reindeer hunting, boat trips, team-building, incentive travel, kayaking, hiking and enjoying the outdoor experiences, watching the northern lights, horseback riding, golf, discovering the history or just relaxing in the cozy environment of the Guesthouse. Boat rental
We offer nine Corsiva 430,boats. Each boat is for max 6 persons. The boats are 4,3 m long and have 4hp Selva outboard motors.

Bird Watching
There are good bird watching opportunities in Fjardabyggd as well as in other parts of the Eastfjords. You can study the birdlife at cliffs, on the sea and shore, in valleys and also the birds at highland lakes and heath lands.

Golf
For those who would like to play a round of golf, there are two courses in the neighborhood, one in Eskifjordur and one in Neskaupstadur and one in Reyðarfjörður.
